Terms of service

What CommunitEze is
CommunitEze is software. It records, calculates and notifies; it does not act for an association. The board makes every decision — what to charge, whom to fine, when to send a notice — and the software carries it out. CommunitEze is not a community association manager, does not hold association funds, and is licensed to you as software, not engaged as a management service.
Money
Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Dues are paid to the association's own connected account and rent to the landlord's; CommunitEze never takes custody. Processing fees are Stripe's published rates, passed through without markup. Subscription fees for CommunitEze itself are billed as described on the pricing page.
Your records
An association's records belong to the association; a landlord's to the landlord; your payment history to you. You may export them at any time. When you leave, you keep your own records and lose access to everyone else's.
Accounts
One person, one account, whatever they hold — except that management-company staff use a work account that carries only the company's work. Keep your sign-in email secure; a sign-in link or code is the key to your account.
Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be available at all times and will tell you about planned interruptions. We may change these terms and will notify account holders by email at least thirty days before a change takes effect.
